George Fullam of Rising Sun enjoyed a day at Sun Fest. George is a WWII veteran.

produced farm products at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church. Patterson
Community Farm is a newly certified organic farm producing vegetables. Popcorn
and soy snacks from Chesapeake Fields, Sylvan Moon soaps, and Rumbleway Farm

George Griffith of Georgetown, MD enjoys a birthday celebration with family. George taught local Cecil County History and was involved in a map project conceived by the students from "Cecil County: An Intro to Its Past." from the Division of Continuing Education Cecil Community College. Courses are still being offered on our fascinating heritage.

Hazel Jenkins, a life-long resident of Colora, enjoyed a ceremony at the Boy Scout Troop 92 cabin. Miss Hazel has been involved in scouting for over 50 years.

Venturing Crew 28 feeds both the Union and Confederate soldiers at the 16th Annual Civil War Reenactment held at Town Park in Rising Sun.
The Venturing Crew is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America. They are in search of new members. A trip to the Longhorn Council in Texas is planned for 2008.

Upper Bay Decoy Show

Ralph Nestor of Elkton, took "Best in Show" at the 40thUpper Shore Decoy Show for his "Near Miss, Bald Eagle with Fish." It took Ralph over 1400 hours to complete this masterpiece. Congradulations, Ralph!

Bill Streaker has been carving since 1967. Bill was born and raised in North East. Bill and his lovely wife have been married for 50 years. Bill stated he got into maintaining over 500 decoys with his father-in-law, Harry Biddle, who took out hunting parties from Baltimore and Philadelphia. The Dupont's and Esskay's were among the hunting parties.
